"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" - Isaiah 9:6
That's the reason! Why slip out of your comfort zone? Why leave family and friends? Why go thru the wear and tear of such a transition? No better reason... than that God sent HIS son, who took on flesh, went thru transition, left his heavenly home, for us, to save us, to redeem us. Doesn't it make sense then to make the sharing of that GOOD NEWS a high priority? Even if it means change... transition... the unknown? Are we not also called to 'incarnate' the gospel for those who have no personal relationship with the God who sent his son to redeem them? I can think of no better reason...
With that in mind, our hope is to begin our journey to Guadalajara, Mexico on January 3rd. We look forward to sharing the GOOD NEWS with the wonderful people of that great city. Thanks for your support, encouragement, and prayers!
What motivates you? What is your reason for living, for getting up in the morning? What priorities does your life reflect? Are you sharing the greatest story ever told?
